Dr Batul Ladak is a pediatrician and a sub specialist in neurodevelopment pediatrics . She has been a member of Global Caregivers Inc since its inception in 2017. She took the position to lead the organization after the founder of GCI Dr Barkat Jaffery passed away
Dr Batul has been actively involved in all GCI projects and was personally engaged in starting a farming project in Tanzania to support poor widows, sewing classes for young women to start their own business and goat rearing project in Tanzania ‘s poverty stricken community.
She initiated train the trainer program in Iraq in the city of Karbala and Najaf. This involved training and skill building of the staff members in autism centers to provide specific educational and therapeutic intervention.
Dr Ladak has provided curriculum guidance and consultation services for children with learning and behavior problems in schools in Iraq and, Tanzania
For many years, Dr Ladak worked and served inner city children, taught medical students and residents and was chief of developmental Pediatrics at Harlem Hospital.
Presently she works in Saddle Brook, NJ as a solo practitioner in her sub specialty. She provides consultation services for the local school districts in her area. She is very passionate and strongly believes that every child has potential to do well and deserves the opportunity. Dr Ladak is a strong advocate for the rights of children with special needs.
