Dr. Barkat Abbas Jaferi was a dedicated internist based in Hamilton, New Jersey. A graduate of King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Jaferi was deeply committed to humanitarian efforts, serving as the Global President of Imamia Medics International (IMI), a global medical organization. He was also the founder of Global Caregivers Inc., a non-profit organization based in New Jersey. Recognized as a selfless soul, role model, mentor, and community leader, Dr. Jaferi made significant contributions to both the New Jersey community and the global medical field. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2019, leaving behind a profound legacy of service and compassion. The current board of Global Caregivers Inc. remains indebted to his vision and is fully committed to fulfilling his dreams of lifting the underprivileged through education and empowerment.
